Holga Scans from Minnesota

I'm not sure what the name of this place was, but we stopped here on our way to Interstate Park in Minnesota a few miles outside of Lino Lakes. These sculptures were larger than life and pretty interesting. I should have brought more film. :)

Quick Stop en Route to Abequeue

I'm having so much fun with my Yashica and Holga medium format cameras. I can't wait to get a 4x5 some day :) It's good to be shooting film again.

Church @ Chimayo New Mexico

The church contains Holy Dirt. It is said that a crucifix was found on this hillside and was dubbed the miraculous crucifix of Our Lord of Esquipulas. My sister explained to me that people come from miles and miles away, WALKING, on a pilgrimage for the holy dirt every year.

When you walk out of the small room containing the hole from where the crucifix was discovered there's a second room full of crutches, casts, bandages, and photos of the deceased.

Supposedly the dirt is a holy healing dirt and visitors are welcome to take small samples of the dirt for their loved ones that need healing. It's a beautiful church.
